about

Since the first release on Bleepstreet, Henry Homesweet draws an incredible amount of energy from the master source and delivers a complete and holistic sound-remedy. Homesweet, like a grand architect, is building a cathedral of sound.

As in his previous releases “The Archaic Revival” and “Flex Out”, the production is a mix between Gameboy Advance sounds and other vintage retro synths and sound chips.

In the first cut “Tombland”, we get to hear a precise and funky bass-driven track with a real wonky and acid edge. It might have sounded like this if Devo, Bootsy Collins and Giorgio Moroder collaborated all together in one session.

The second cut is “Playhaus”, a sweet-like-honey minimal tech-house jam where Homesweet invites you to take a ride on his chariot. Also included is the 9 minute long extended mix for the session makers.

A perfect release to mark our 20th reference on the Bleepstreet catalog.
